Introduction: The Physiological effects of fasting on athletes have been of an interest to some researchers and different results have also been obtained. In some researches, the effects of weight training and practice in heat on blood FACTORS, fluids and electrolytes were investigated and it was found that the plasma volume was reduced and the concentration of blood and electrolytes were increased. The purpose of this research was to study and compare the effects of weight training on HEMATOLOGICAL FACTORS among the students of Physical Education in fasting and non- fasting conditions.Materials and Methods: This study is a semi-experimental research. The population of the study includes male physical education students of Islamic Azad University of Mashhad. Having voluntarily completed the initial questionnaire, 15 of the participants were randomly chosen as the statistical sample. Recued tests were taken twice: three days before Ramadan and in the fourth week of Ramadan (before and after the exercise sessions). The training protocol included a session of weight training (circuit training). The exercise intensity, time of training and temperature were controlled prior to the exercise sessions. Data analysis was done by using one variable analysis of variance (F test at the alpha level of 5%.Results: A) Ramadan fasting had no significant effect on the subjects’ body weight, fasting blood sugar, hemoglobin, hematocrit, red blood cells, platelets and white blood cells. B) Training had significant effect on the subjects’ body weight, hemoglobin, hematocrit, red blood cells, platelets and white blood cells, but had no significant effect on their blood sugar. C) Fasting and training have significant interaction effects on the subjects’ weight, blood sugar, platelets and white blood cells and had no significant effect on the subjects’ hemoglobin, hematocrit and red blood cells. Conclusion: Training in fasting condition could probably cause some changes in HEMATOLOGICAL FACTORS due to the reduction of body water, but changes in blood sugar are more obvious. Therefore, to prevent reducing the rate of blood sugar, it is recommended that the intensity of training be less than usual in fasting condition.

Abstract:

Blood parameters regarded as valuable tools for monitoring fish health and growth is influenced by many intrinsic and extrinsic FACTORS. In this study that aimed to evaluate the effect environmental and intrinsic FACTORS on HEMATOLOGICAL parameters of Alburnus chalcoides, 84 fish samples (average body weight 45. 69± 27. 10 gr and average body length 16. 50± 3. 98 cm) were collected from three sampling stations (sea, river, and estuary) in the southern coast of the Caspian Sea in Gilan Province during 12 months. Biometry and determination of sex, blood samples were collected from the caudal peduncle and used for HEMATOLOGICAL studies. Red blood cell count (RBC), hemoglobin (HGB), and hematocrit (HCT) values were significantly in males higher than in females (P<0. 05). These HEMATOLOGICAL parameters were significantly higher in the river than in the sea and estuary and in the summer than other seasons (P<0. 05). In Pearson correlation test, blood FACTORS had significant negative correlation with water salinity and total length as well as weight of fish. They also had significant positive correlation with water temperature (P<0. 01). Regression analysis showed a significant relationship between blood FACTORS and water temperature (P<0. 01).

Abstract:

Iran is one of the most exclusive antidote producers within the Middle East. Blood serum production of high quality treatment and fewer side effects have a significant impact on public health. This may only be attainable if eutherian and animal health are to be provided. The employment of sports activities as a nonpharmacological method will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the health of the livestock. The purpose of this study was to investigate the result of aerobic exercises on HEMATOLOGICAL FACTORS in antidote production horses. Sixteen horses were arbitrarily divided into two groups of venom and venom + training group for 22 weeks within the antidote production cycle. The exercise protocol consisted of three sessions of aerobic exercise per week, with moderate intensity. Blood samples at three different times: Before the beginning of the protocol, end of the 11-week period and therefore the end of the 22-week period were collected through the jugular vein and evaluated by repeated measures of variance analysis. The results showed that almost all of the measured FACTORS reduced the number of red blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, platelet count and white blood cells, neutrophils, monocytes, eosinophils and MCV n each groups, whereas the number of lymphocytes, MCH and MCHC increased (P <0. 05). In sum, the results of this study showed that physical activity and venom are each FACTORS influencing HEMATOLOGICAL FACTORS, Although most of the results were influenced by the effect of the venom, the impact level within the venom + training group was less than that of the venom group.

Abstract:

Identifying the constraining FACTORS of production and yield gap is very important. Therefore; this research was performed to identify the production constraining FACTORS of local rice cultivars. All management practices from nursery preparation to harvesting stages for 100 paddy fields of local rice cultivars were recorded through field studies, in Sari, from 2015-2016. In the CPA, the actual and calculated potential yield were 4495 and 5703 kg/ha, respectively and the gap was 1221 kg/ha. The yield gap caused by number of top-dressing variables was 324 kg/ha, equal to 27% of the total yield gap. The yield gap related to previous year of legumes cultivation was 218 kg ha-1, equal to 18% of the total yield variation. Among the 10 variables entered in the CPA model, the effects of top-dress fertilizer application and its application frequency and foliar application were remarkable, which could compensate a significant part of the yield gap (444 kg/ha, 37% of total) in the farmers’ fields by managing these variables. According to boundary line analysis (BLA) finding, actual yield mean on the basis of optimal limit related to 12 variables under study was 5369 kg/ha, with 881 kg/ha yield gap . Mean relative yield and relative yield gap for 12 variables (transplanting date, seedling age, number of seedlings per hill, planting density, nitrogen and phosphorous per hectare, nitrogen before transplanting, harvesting date, lodging problem, pest problem, diseases problem and weeds problem) were 83.64 and 16.35 kg/ha, respectively. Based on the finding, it can be stated that the model precision is appropriate and can be applied for both estimation of the quantity of yield gap and determining the portion of each restricting yield variables.

Abstract:

BACKGROUND: Hypercholesterolemia is among the most common health problems treated with traditional remedies. Nigella sativa (NS) is an effective plant for treating hypercholesterolemia. However, the effects of this herb on hematologic FACTORS and hemostasis system have not been elucidated. This study was designed to investigate the effects of NS on these FACTORS in both normal and hypercholesterolemic rabbits.METHODS: In this research, twenty rabbits were randomly distributed into four groups of five. The groups received four different diets, namely normal, normal+NS (5%), hypercholesterolemic (1% cholesterol), and hypercholesterolemic (1% cholesterol) +NS (5%), for 8 weeks. After this period, WBC (white blood cell), RBC (red blood cell), HTC (hematocrit), HGB (hemoglobin content), PLT (platelet), fibrinogen (FIB) and FACTORS VII (F VII) were measured.RESULTS: Using NS significantly increased PLT count in the normal group. In addition, it significantly decreased WBC counts in the hypercholesterolemic group (P<0.05). However, dietary use of NS did not have any effects on other hematologic FACTORS including RBC, HTC, HGB, FIB, and F VII (P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Increased PLT numbers might cause enhanced coagulation. The achieved results call for more research on the effects of various diets (hypercholesterolemic and normal diet) supplemented with NS on different coagulation FACTORS and hemostasis system.
